New features
Section titled “New features”Get the App Made for Your Phone (KAN-3792)
🌐 WebAccount & Security
Sign in to Tovari from your phone's browser and we'll now point you to the app made for your iPhone or Android phone, which is a better experience than the browser. Tap Get the app to go grab it, or tap Continue here to keep going right where you are. We only ask right after you sign in, so refreshing the page won't pop it back up.Phone Browser Now Matches the App (KAN-3793)
🌐 WebAccounts & BalancesTransactions & RegisterBudgetingBills & ReoccuringReports & InsightsNotifications & E-MailSettings
Tovari in your phone's web browser now works just like our iPhone and Android app, with Home, Accounts, Budget, Bills and Reports along the bottom and the same menu, alerts bell and help button across the top. To add a transaction, tap the + at the top of Home, and if you change your mind, Undo is right there. If you switch to the desktop site on your phone, a new "Back to the phone layout" link gets you home again, so you're never stuck squinting at the big-screen version.Phone Accounts, Just Like the App (KAN-3795)
🌐 WebAccounts & Balances
Your accounts on a phone browser now look and work like they do in the Tovari app: sorted into Cash, Credit Cards, Loans and Investments, with a total for each and your net worth right at the top. You can search by name, bank or last four digits, drag accounts into the order you like, and tap Fix as soon as a bank connection needs you. Your favorite stars and the Mine / Theirs / Ours filter are still here, and if you track investments, a card takes you straight to your portfolio.Your Account Register, Now Just Like the App (KAN-3797)
🌐 WebTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring
Open an account in your phone's web browser and you now get the same register as the app, including a Projected tab that charts where your balance is heading over the next month. Transactions are grouped by day with each day's total, and upcoming bills are colour-coded so you can spot what's matched, what's scheduled and what's overdue at a glance. You can also select several transactions to categorize them at once, and custom date ranges finally work right on your phone instead of sending you off to a computer.Every Account, One Transaction List (KAN-3798)
🌐 WebTransactions & Register
On your phone's web browser, you can now see transactions from all your accounts in one list, just like in the app. Tap the new Transactions card on the Accounts screen, then narrow the list to the accounts you care about, categorize a batch of transactions at once, or add a new one to whichever account you pick. Each upcoming bill also shows the balance its own account is expected to have.Investments, Made for Your Phone Browser (KAN-3802)
🌐 WebAccounts & Balances
Investments in your phone's browser now looks and works like the Tovari app: your portfolio value, what you put in and what the market added, a chart you can drag a finger along, and your holdings, all fitted to the screen with nothing to scroll sideways. Tap any investment account to see its market value and its recorded values over time.Payees, Now in Your Phone Browser (KAN-3803)
🌐 WebPayees
You can now manage your payees when you use Tovari in a phone browser. Open Settings and tap Payees to search your list, rename a payee, choose its default category (Income included) and set how its bank text is matched. Tick two or more payees to merge duplicates, picking the name you want to keep. If you change a payee's default category, Tovari offers to update its past transactions too, so your history matches. When bills use a payee you are deleting, Tovari tells you how many will be unlinked before anything changes. The App’s Bills Screen, Now in Your Phone’s Browser (KAN-3806)
🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring
Your phone's browser now gets the same Bills screen as the Tovari app, with your bills sorted into overdue, due this week and the months ahead so you can see what needs you first. Search, filter and sort to find any bill, then swipe it to pause, edit or delete it, and deleting offers to pause it instead. When Tovari spots a payment that keeps coming back, tap Schedule to see it as a bill, and nothing is created until you tap Save.Reports, Just Like the App (KAN-3810)
🌐 WebReports & Insights
Reports on your phone's browser now works like the Tovari app. The name of the report at the top is your menu for switching reports, and three quick buttons under your headline total let you jump between This Month, Last Month and Last 3 Months. A filter button opens the full list of periods, a custom range of up to twelve months, the accounts to include, and the option to look only at categories you budget. Tap a category, a payee or a month to see what is behind it, and tap the notice about possible transfers to go review them. Everything fits the screen without sideways scrolling.Every Report, Made for Your Phone (KAN-3811)
🌐 WebReports & Insights
Reports on your phone's browser now look and work the way they do in the Tovari app. Cash Flow shows what is coming in and going out, with a balance line that separates what has happened from what is still scheduled, and you can look ahead up to a year. Income vs Expenses lists your months side by side, and tapping a month shows where the gap came from. Net Worth and Safe to Spend get the same clean phone layout, so every report fits the screen without scrolling sideways.Clear Your Alerts From Your Phone Browser (KAN-3812)
🌐 Web🍎 iOSTransactions & RegisterNotifications & E-Mail
You can now clear your alerts right from your phone's web browser: approve detected transfers, file uncategorized transactions, and catch up on your notifications, one item at a time, with an Undo button for when your thumb gets ahead of you. New recurring bills and possible duplicates still need a computer or the Tovari app for now. In the iPhone app, the message you see after filing a transaction now names the category you actually picked, not the one we suggested.Home and Cash Flow Finally Agree (KAN-3762)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBills & ReoccuringAccounts & Balances
If Home and Bills Cash Flow ever told you two different stories about how low your balance would dip or when it would go below zero, you weren't imagining it: Home was quietly leaving out bills that were already overdue. Both screens now show the same forecast for the same accounts, and every bill counts exactly once, so an overdue bill is included while one your bank already paid, or one you typed in yourself, isn't subtracted a second time. To keep things in order, you'll also be asked to enter or skip an older unpaid bill before a later one.One Payment, Counted Once (KAN-3764)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring
If you had already typed a bill payment into your register yourself, pressing Enter on that bill could add the same payment a second time, so it counted twice. We're sorry about that. Now Tovari stops and asks whether the payment you typed is the one for this bill, so you can match it or add a new one on purpose, and nothing gets double counted.Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”Website Analytics, Clearly Disclosed (KAN-3763)
🌐 WebAccount & Security
Our website now counts which pages people visit and which buttons they tap, so we can keep making it more useful. It only runs on our website, never inside the Tovari app, and if your browser has "Do Not Track" switched on it stays out of your way entirely. Our Privacy and Cookie Policies now spell all of this out, so there are no surprises.
