2026.10.01.2

Tovari 2026.10.01.2 is the release published on Oct 1, 2026. Here’s what changed in it.

Smarter Categories for Unfamiliar Shops (KAN-3349)

🌐 Web🍎 iOS🤖 AndroidCategorization & AI

When the app can't tell which shop or service a transaction came from, it now looks the business up — checking business listings near the town in the description, or searching the web — before deciding on a category. Far more of your purchases get the right category on their own, and anything still unclear stays in Uncategorized for you rather than getting a wild guess. We've updated the Privacy Policy to explain how these lookups work, so you'll be asked to accept it once.

Account Reordering Without the Stuck Screen (KAN-3030)

📱 iOS & AndroidAccounts & Balances

Dragging an account to a new spot on your phone could leave the Accounts screen stuck and refusing to scroll if the list changed under your finger mid-drag. We're sorry about that; it now lets go and scrolls normally again. Also, searching for a closed account while rearranging used to leave a blank screen, and now it says plainly that no accounts match.

Late Bills Now Say Overdue (KAN-3084)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

Your Bills list no longer fibs about late bills. A bill that was days or weeks past due used to say "Today", which was wishful thinking on our part, and it now says "Overdue" in red so it's hard to miss. A bill whose payment is already on its way through your bank stays calm, since it isn't actually late.

Cancel and Resume Show Up Right Away (KAN-3318)

🌐 WebBilling & Subscriptions

When you cancelled or resumed your subscription on the web, the Billing page kept showing the old button until you refreshed, which made it look like nothing had happened. Now the page waits a moment for the change to go through and then shows it right away: your end date after a cancel, or your normal plan after a resume.

Notes That Follow Their Payments (KAN-3331)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

If you moved a one-time payment to a new date in Cash Flow and typed a note on it while that move was still saving, your note could vanish or get left on the old date. We fixed that: your note now waits for the move to finish, then lands on the payment's new date, exactly as you typed it.

Re-Importing Stops Doubling Up (KAN-3333)

🌐 WebFile Import

Re-importing a bank statement no longer posts a second copy of transactions that were matched to something you'd already entered or to one of your bills. Those matched entries weren't being remembered, so a repeat import treated them as brand new, and that one was on us. They're remembered now, so your register stays the way you left it.

Imports No Longer Drop Transactions (KAN-3334)

🌐 WebFile Import

If two lines on your bank statement matched the same transaction you'd entered by hand, the app counted that one transaction twice and dropped the second line, so a real transaction never made it into your register. That was our mistake, and it's fixed: the first line now marks your entry as cleared, and the second is added as its own transaction. The same goes if the entry you matched was deleted or reconciled before you finished the import, so nothing from your statement goes missing.

Saves No Longer Close the Wrong Screen (KAN-3340)

📱 iOS & AndroidBills & Reoccuring

If you backed out of adding a one-time item while it was still saving and then opened something else, that new screen could close all by itself — our mistake, and a rude surprise. A save that finishes late now only wraps up its own screen, and the same goes for editing a bill or marking a payment as scheduled. Whatever you opened next stays right where you put it.

Red Warnings Only When They’re Real (KAN-3355)

📱 iOS & AndroidBills & Reoccuring

The Projected balance chart in Cash Flow on iPhone and Android was drawing a red warning line at $0 even when your balance was nowhere near running out, which made a healthy balance look like trouble. That was our mistake. Now the red line and shading appear only when your projected balance really does drop below zero, so red on the chart always means a real shortfall.

Every Merchant Gets a Turn (KAN-3357)

🌐 Web🍎 iOS🤖 AndroidCategorization & AI

If you had lots of unfamiliar merchants, the app's automatic categorizing could quietly stop after the first couple hundred and never come back for the rest. It now keeps working through the whole list until every one has had a real attempt, so more of your transactions get categorized for you.

One Bill Change, Shown Everywhere (KAN-3364)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring

If you changed one month's bill amount in Cash Flow, your Bills list kept showing the usual amount — so one screen said $1,700 and another said $1,500. Now every screen shows that month's real amount with an EDITED tag, and the usual amount right beneath it. Changing a bill's amount from your register works the same way: it updates just that one payment, and the change shows up in Cash Flow and Bills too.

Skipped Means Skipped (KAN-3365)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring

Skipping a payment in Cash Flow didn't stop your register from nagging you about it — it kept showing up in red as overdue. Now a skipped payment shows as Skipped everywhere, greyed out and crossed off, so the only overdue bills you see are ones that really are. Changed your mind? Unskip it in Cash Flow and it comes right back.

Budget and Cash Flow Keep Up With Your Bills (KAN-3192)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBills & ReoccuringBudgetingReports & Insights

Your Budget and Cash Flow screens no longer lag a step behind your bills. Before, skipping a payment, undoing a bill match, or adding, editing or deleting a bill could leave those screens showing old numbers until you refreshed. Now they catch up the moment you save the change, so the figures always match your bills.

Payments Open Without the Keypad (KAN-3356)

📱 iOS & AndroidBills & Reoccuring

Opening a payment in Cash Flow on your phone used to shove the number keypad up in your face before you'd touched anything. Now it opens clean, so you can read it, skip it or move its date without a keyboard in the way. Tap the amount when you do want to change it, and the keypad shows up then.
