2026.10.03.1

Tovari 2026.10.03.1 is the release published on Oct 3, 2026. Here’s what changed in it.

Scheduled Bills Get Undo, Repeats and a Look Ahead (KAN-3398)

🌐 WebTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring

If you press Enter on a scheduled bill by mistake, a quick Undo now pops up on the web and puts it right back, notes and changes included. That button also says "Enter" in plain words now, instead of wearing a tick that looked just like a cleared payment. Next month's bills now show up in your account even when they fall just past the dates you're viewing, and on a PC or Mac you can make a new item repeat and hop from a scheduled item straight to its schedule.

Delete an Account for Good (KAN-3400)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidAccounts & Balances

You can now delete an account for good instead of just closing it, which is perfect for that empty test account that's been loitering in your closed accounts. It can't be undone, so you'll type the account's name to confirm, and its transactions and bills go with it, though your other accounts' balances stay put. Accounts connected to your bank or involved in transfers with another account can still be closed, and the app explains why they can't be deleted.

A Fresh Start, Same Household (KAN-3401)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidHousehold ManagementSettings

Household admins can now wipe the slate and start over, right from Settings under Data & Privacy, on the web or in the app. Your accounts, transactions, bills, budgets and payees are cleared and your categories go back to the starter set, but you stay signed in and your members and subscription are untouched. Linked banks get disconnected first, and you can save a copy of your data before you begin.

Mark Bills Scheduled, Right From Your Forecast (KAN-3411)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

You can now mark an upcoming bill as scheduled right from your Bills forecast, no trip to the account register required. Click the little calendar-check icon beside the other buttons on a bill, and the same window you know from the register opens with that bill's date and amount already filled in. Tweak anything that's off, save, and your forecast shows that bill as scheduled.

Bill Editing That Lets You Finish Typing (KAN-963)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

Editing a bill used to fight you: it saved half-typed entries, refilled a day you had just cleared, and locked your first payment date too early. We fixed all of that, so you can now type at your own pace and change the first payment date until a payment has actually been entered or skipped. You also get a heads-up before a new next payment date would skip a payment, and your changes stick even if you leave the page right away.

Exports That Match Your Screen (KAN-3359)

🌐 WebTransactions & Register

Exporting your register to a spreadsheet was handing you extra rows. If you had it narrowed to pending or unsettled items, only uncategorized transactions, or just what one household member entered, the export ignored that and sent everything else along too. That was our slip, and now the spreadsheet holds exactly the rows on your screen, with a line near the top listing every filter you had on.

Loans and Cards Now Count as Debt (KAN-3397)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidAccounts & Balances

Loans and credit cards you add by hand now count as money you owe, not money you have, so your net worth finally adds up. Our mistake: a $200,000 mortgage used to make you $200,000 richer on paper, and every payment you linked to it made the debt grow instead of shrink. We've corrected the cards and loans you'd already entered, and you can now add a Loan account from the website too, not just the phone app.

Your Last Transaction, Back in View (KAN-3399)

🌐 WebAccounts & BalancesTransactions & RegisterBudgetingBills & ReoccuringReports & InsightsSettings

The "Ask Tovari" button in the corner of the screen was sitting on top of the last transaction in your register, hiding its amount and balance no matter how far you scrolled (in a phone-sized browser, it clipped the last card instead). Every page now scrolls just far enough that the final row lands fully above the button, where you can actually read it.

Your Accounts, In Sync Across Devices (KAN-3403)

🌐 WebAccounts & Balances

If you added or renamed an account on your phone, the web app could keep showing your old list until you logged out and back in. Not our finest moment. Now it picks up those changes within about a minute of you switching back to the browser tab, or straight away when you reload the page.

Budget Amounts Work on Android Again (KAN-3504)

🤖 AndroidBudgeting

On Android, tapping a budget amount lit up the box but never brought up the number keypad, so you couldn't actually type an amount — sorry about that, it's fixed. The keypad now opens on the first tap, and the Auto-fill and Done bar sits right on top of it instead of floating partway up the screen.

Help Pages You Can Picture (KAN-3402)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring

The help pages now show you a labelled picture of the register, so you can see exactly which little circle marks a transaction as uncleared, cleared or reconciled — and which buttons enter, skip or mark a scheduled bill. There's also a new glossary that explains every Tovari term in plain words, plus clear steps for undoing a bill you entered by mistake and for recording a payment toward a loan you keep in Tovari.

Permanent Deletes Are Now Admin-Only (KAN-3437)

🌐 Web🍎 iOS🤖 AndroidAccounts & BalancesHousehold Management

Permanently deleting an account is now something only your household admin can do, since it wipes that account's transactions and bills for good. Everyone else can still close an account exactly as before, and the app now tells them why the delete option isn't there.

More Ways to Reach Us (KAN-3438)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBilling & SubscriptionsAccount & Security

Our Terms of Use now list a mailing address and a phone number for reaching us, alongside our support email. The Terms and Privacy Policy also now cover subscribing through Google Play on Android, including how to cancel and how refunds work, and the iPhone section matches what Apple asks every app to include. Nothing about how you use Tovari changes, and you won't be asked to accept anything again.
