2026.10.07.2
Tovari 2026.10.07.2 is the release published on Oct 7, 2026. Here’s what changed in it.
New features
Section titled “New features”All Your Transactions, One Screen (KAN-3661)
🌐 WebTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring
There’s a new Transactions screen in the sidebar that puts every open account in one place: bills coming due in the next 90 days up top, three years of history below. Narrow it to just the accounts you care about, or search for a store or company to see its next bill and every past payment side by side. Money you move between two of the accounts you’re viewing won’t skew the totals, since it never left your pocket.
See Your Balance 30 Days Ahead (KAN-3662)
🌐 WebTransactions & RegisterAccounts & Balances
You can now see where your balance is headed: your account register has a Projected balance chart that draws where your balance has been and where your upcoming bills will take it over the next 30 days. On checking and savings it marks your lowest point and tells you the day you would dip below zero, if you would. On credit cards and loans it shows the most you will owe, how close you are to your card limit, and when you will have it paid off.
The Full Register, on Your Phone (KAN-3663)
📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & Register
Your phone’s account register just picked up the website’s handy tools: press and hold to select transactions, then categorize them together, match two up, or link two as a transfer. Small tags flag possible duplicates and other things worth a look, and a new Projected view shows where your balance is headed over the next month. Type a minus sign for money going out, pick a future date to save an upcoming bill, and delete both sides of a transfer in one go.
All Your Transactions, One List (KAN-3664)
📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & Register
You can now see every account’s transactions together in one list on your phone: tap the new Transactions card on the Accounts screen. Upcoming bills sit above today and past activity below it, and a transfer between your own accounts shows as one joined pair instead of two strangers. Pick which accounts to show and the app remembers your choice for next time.
Investment Balances No Longer Get Stuck (KAN-2369)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidAccounts & BalancesData Sync
Your investment balances now keep up with every change, including when a balance drops back to an amount it showed before. Some investment accounts could get stuck on an older figure after that happened, and that one’s on us. Any account that got stuck will correct itself the next time it syncs with your bank.
Spot Transfers Padding Your Cushion (KAN-2852)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidReports & Insights
Your Safe to Spend cushion could come out bigger than it should, because money you moved between your own accounts sometimes got counted as everyday spending. Now Tovari flags it right next to the figure on the web dashboard, in Reports and in the mobile app, with one tap to the transfers waiting for your review. Confirm them as transfers and they stop counting, so your cushion goes back to reflecting what you actually spend.
Reconcile Without Getting Stuck (KAN-2859)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & Register
Reconciling a bank-linked account could leave you stuck with a gap you had no way to close, because your bank’s balance included activity that hadn’t reached Tovari yet. That was a dead end, and it’s fixed: in that situation the balance box now starts empty so you can type in your statement’s ending balance, with a note explaining why the bank’s number may not match. If you type the bank’s number in anyway, you’ll see a message about the gap and what to do next.
Cash Flow Chart and List Now Agree (KAN-3293)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBills & Reoccuring
The Cash Flow chart and the list of upcoming payments could disagree about your balance on a given day, or about the first day you’d dip below zero. It mostly showed up when you had an overdue bill or a payment still pending at the bank, and that mismatch was on us. Now the chart, the list, the heads-up about going negative, and the preview before you move a payment all work from the same numbers.
Bill payments you marked or moved now link automatically when they clear (KAN-3680)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring
When you marked a bill as already paid, or moved one payment to a different date or amount, Tovari didn’t link the bank payment to the bill once it cleared, so the bill kept showing as due beside the payment that paid it. Now a payment you marked as scheduled links to its bill automatically when it clears at the amount you entered, including two identical bills paid on the same day. A payment you moved is recognised at its new date and amount as well as its original ones. When Tovari finds a likely payment it still needs you to confirm, the bill now says “Payment found” so you know to tap it. On the phone, a payment you moved counts down to its new date.
Payments already in your register now link to bills you add, mark or move (KAN-3682)
🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidData SyncBills & Reoccuring
When a payment was already in your register before you created its bill, marked it as scheduled or moved it to a new date, Tovari never linked the two, so the bill kept showing as due even though it was paid. Now Tovari checks those earlier payments again on the next bank sync and links them automatically, using the same strict rules it applies to a brand-new payment. It only does this when exactly one payment fits and you haven’t edited that transaction yourself; otherwise the bill shows “Payment found” for you to confirm. Undo bill match on the transaction reverses it.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”Tovari Opens Faster (KAN-669)
🌐 Web
Tovari now opens faster in your web browser, because it only loads the screen you’re looking at instead of the whole app up front. And if you leave a tab open while we update the app, then click to a new screen, you’ll get a friendly “Reload” button instead of a blank page.
