2026.10.07.1

Tovari 2026.10.07.1 is the release published on Oct 7, 2026. Here’s what changed in it.

Help, Always in the Same Spot (KAN-3653)

🌐 WebAccounts & BalancesTransactions & RegisterBudgetingBills & ReoccuringReports & Insights

The help button now sits in the same spot on every screen: first in the row of controls at the top right, and styled just like the one on your Dashboard. Wherever you are in Tovari, help is one familiar click away.

Your Account, Past and Future, in One View (KAN-3660)

🌐 WebTransactions & RegisterBills & Reoccuring

Every account now shows one timeline: upcoming bills on top, a “Today” line in the middle, and past activity below, with balances alongside so you can see where your money is heading. Click into a date, payee, category or amount to change it right where it sits, and each month’s header totals up the month and shows where your balance lands. Paying a card or loan from your checking account? That scheduled payment now shows on the card or loan too (look, don’t touch), and one click takes you to the account it comes from.

Superchargers Are Gas, Not Streaming (KAN-3639)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidCategorization & AI

Tesla Supercharger stops, car washes and oil changes were landing in Subscriptions & Streaming, and no, your car wash is not a streaming service. Charging now goes to Gas & Fuel, Tesla subscriptions to Subscriptions & Streaming, other Tesla and car-service purchases to Auto Maintenance & Parts, and a new Household Expenses category catches things like postage and storage. We also moved the transactions we had already filed wrong, without touching any category you picked yourself.

Deposits Stay Out of Your Spending (KAN-3641)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidCategorization & AI

Paychecks and deposits were sometimes filed under spending categories like Bank Fees, which made your spending look lower than it really was. We found the cause in our automatic categorizing and fixed it. Money coming in can no longer be filed as an expense, and money going out can no longer be filed as income.

Fresh Numbers Every Time You Open Tovari (KAN-3674)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidAccounts & BalancesData Sync

If you left Tovari running in the background overnight, your Home screen could keep showing yesterday’s Safe to Spend, even after your bank’s new transactions had arrived and your widget had already updated. Now, every time you come back to the app, it checks for the latest figures, so your Home screen and your widget show the same number.

One Home Category, Not Two (KAN-3640)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBudgetingCategorization & AI

Home Maintenance and Home Improvement were close enough that picking between them was a chore of its own. They are now one category, Home Maintenance & Improvement, holding everything both used to, including your budget amounts and notes. If you had renamed it, your name stays.

Search Amounts, Minus Sign and All (KAN-3657)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & Register

Searching for an amount now works even when you type it with a minus sign, so “-45” or “−$1,234.56” finds the same transaction as “45” or “1234.56”. We also did some quiet groundwork for seeing transactions from several of your accounts in one list, and for remembering how you like that list set up, though you won’t see that on screen yet.

Upcoming Payments Now Show on Your Cards and Loans (KAN-3670)

🌐 WebBills & ReoccuringTransactions & Register

Your credit cards and loans can finally see the payments headed their way: anything you’ve scheduled from another account to pay one now shows up in that card’s or loan’s upcoming list. Those rows are view-only and say which account they’re paid from, so you still make changes in one place and nothing gets counted twice.
