2026.09.29.1

Tovari 2026.09.29.1 is the release published on Sep 29, 2026. Here’s what changed in it.

Cleaner Account Lists on the Web (KAN-3159)

🌐 WebAccounts & Balances

Your account lists on the web are easier to scan now: the dashboard and the Accounts screen show just your balance, without the extra bank status text squeezed underneath. Credit card limit bars also line up neatly from card to card, and the Investment accounts table dropped two columns you didn't need. Want to know when an account last synced? Open it, and it's right there.

Delete Your Account Right From the App (KAN-3174)

🌐 Web🍎 iOS🤖 AndroidAccount & SecurityBilling & Subscriptions

You can now delete your Tovari account right in the app, on the web or your phone, instead of having to email us. Look for "Delete account" on your Billing screen, on the screen you see when your subscription has ended, or on the sign-up screen if you change your mind. We'll ask you to type DELETE and suggest saving a copy of your data first, because once it's gone, it's gone for good.

Safe to Spend Now Follows Your Bill Edits (KAN-3088)

🌐 Web🍎 iOS🤖 AndroidAccounts & BalancesBills & ReoccuringNotifications & E-Mail

When you changed a single bill payment in Cash Flow, your register's projected balance picked it up but Safe to Spend kept counting the bill's usual amount and date — so the two quietly disagreed about your money. Now Safe to Spend and your bill reminders use the amount and date you set: move a payment past payday and it waits for your next paycheck, and skip one and it isn't set aside at all.

Clearer File Import Checks (KAN-3099)

🌐 WebFile Import

If a file you imported had a row with a date that cannot exist, such as February 30th, or an amount of exactly $0.00, the import could fail later on with a confusing error. Tovari now checks for these rows as soon as the file is read and rejects the file right away, so you can fix the row and upload it again. We also fixed column detection for files that list a "Transaction Type" column before a "Description" column: your transaction descriptions now come from the Description column instead of the transaction type.

No More Phantom Dips in Cash Flow (KAN-3160)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

When a paycheck and a bill landed on the same day, your Cash Flow view listed the bill first, so your balance looked like it dipped into the red and even warned you that you'd come up short. That scare was ours, not your bank's — deposits now come first on any shared day, so your running balance only shows a shortfall when there really is one.

Counts of One Read Correctly (KAN-3164)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBudgetingReports & InsightsNotifications & E-Mail

When there was exactly one of something, a few places in the app said it wrong, like "1 items need review", "1 open actions" or "Due in 1 days", and screen readers read those labels aloud the same way. They now read naturally, as in "1 item needs review" and "Due in 1 day". Counts of two or more read exactly as before.

More Counts of One Read Correctly (KAN-3165)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidTransactions & RegisterBudgetingReports & InsightsSettings

A few more places still said things like "1 transactions loaded", "1 pay periods" or "1 months" when there was exactly one, including labels that screen readers read aloud. They now use the singular, as in "1 transaction loaded" and "1 pay period". Counts of two or more read exactly as before.

Export File Sizes Read Correctly (KAN-3166)

🌐 WebSettings

When a data export was just under a size boundary, its size could read as "1024 KB" instead of "1 MB". Sizes now roll over to the larger unit, so they read the way you would expect.

Reports Handle Negative Figures (KAN-3177)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidReports & Insights

If a month's income came out negative (for example when a refund or clawback outweighed your deposits), the Spending by Month and Spending by Category reports could fail to load. They now show that month normally. We also fixed the Net Worth report's percent change when your net worth is below zero: an improvement now shows as a rise instead of a drop.

Sign-In Works Behind More Networks (KAN-3178)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidAccount & Security

Some people signing in from behind certain office or school networks could get an error right after entering the correct password, and could not get in. Signing in, changing two-factor settings and signing out now work normally on those networks.

Contact Links Point to Our Current Address (KAN-3179)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBilling & SubscriptionsSettings

A few "contact support" links around the app were still pointing at our old email address — a little like forwarding mail to a house we'd moved out of. Every one of them now uses our current address, support@tovarifinancial.com, on the web and on your phone.

Budget Amounts Accept “$” and Commas (KAN-3184)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBudgeting

Typing a budget amount with a dollar sign or a thousands separator, like "$1,200", could save $0 instead of the amount you entered. Budget amounts now accept those forms and save exactly what you typed, on the web, on a phone browser and in the mobile app.

Bill Changes Show Up Right Away (KAN-3187)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBills & ReoccuringReports & Insights

After you added, changed, skipped, entered or deleted a bill, some screens could keep showing the old information until you refreshed or waited a few minutes: the Cash Flow chart, the bills listed in your budget's monthly details, and the recurring badge in Spending by Payee. Undoing a recurring bill from Review could leave it on your Bills list and in Safe to Spend. These screens now update as soon as you make the change, on the web and in the mobile app.

Delete Requests Go to Your Household Admin (KAN-3188)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidHousehold Management

If someone else runs your household, asking to delete your account used to send that request to our support team instead of to the one person who can actually act on it. Now it goes straight to your household admin by email, and we only step in if your admin can't be reached.

Safe to Spend Edits No Longer Lost (KAN-3196)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidSettings

If a Safe to Spend settings save lost its connection and you then changed a setting and saved again, the app could say your settings were saved while quietly keeping the earlier version. A changed save is now always treated as a new save: if your first save did go through, you see the usual notice that your settings changed while you were editing, with the option to keep yours.

Unfinished Setup Waits for You (KAN-66)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidAccount & Security

Life happens, and sometimes setup gets left halfway. If you close Tovari before finishing, the next time you sign in on the web we'll bring you right back to setup instead of letting you slip past it. Once you've made it through — on the web or in the app — we'll remember, and you'll go straight to your dashboard from then on.

Unfinished Setup? We’ll Bring You Back (KAN-2981)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidAccount & SecurityAccounts & Balances

Didn't finish setting up? Signing in on the web now brings you back to setup instead of skipping past it, and once you're done we remember, so it won't send you back again. In the mobile app, your first account is now one tap away on a friendly "Add your first account" card, and the screen asking returning members to review policy changes now carries a clearer "Updated Policies" heading.

A Tidier Profile Page (KAN-3162)

🌐 WebSettings

Your Profile page in Settings now sticks to the basics: your name, email and household role. Two-factor authentication was showing up there as well as under Security, so we tidied away the extra copy — you'll find it, on/off switch and all, under Security, right where it's always lived.

Two More Weeks of Free Access (KAN-3191)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBilling & Subscriptions

Everyone who joined during early access gets two extra weeks on us: your free access now runs through October 15 instead of October 1. There's nothing you need to do, and if you already had a trial, it moves to the new date too.
