2026.09.21.1

Tovari 2026.09.21.1 is the release published on Sep 21, 2026. Here’s what changed in it.

See Every Upcoming Bill and Your Balance After It (KAN-2914)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

Bills & Schedule has a new Cash Flow view: flip the switch in the toolbar and instead of one row per bill you see every upcoming payment, in date order, with your projected balance after each one — so you can spot exactly when money gets tight. Group by month or by payday, search by payee or note, and watch the balance chart above follow whatever row you click. Editing individual payments right from this view is coming next.

A Balance Chart That Follows Your Bills (KAN-2915)

🌐 WebBills & ReoccuringReports & Insights

The new Cash Flow view comes with a projected-balance chart pinned above the list: a solid line for where your balance has been, a dashed line for where it’s headed, a marker on the lowest point, and a plain-language note if it dips below zero. Click anywhere on the chart to jump to that day’s payments, and scroll the list to watch the chart cursor follow along.

Edit Any Upcoming Bill Right in the Cash Flow Ledger (KAN-2916)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

In Cash Flow mode you can now click any upcoming bill and change its amount, date, or notes for that one occurrence only, without touching the rest of the series. Move through the ledger with the arrow keys, Tab, and Enter like a spreadsheet, or pick a new date from a calendar. Skip an occurrence you know will not happen and it drops out of your projected balance while staying visible. Every change updates your running balance, the chart, and the summary figures at once, and a Revert button puts an occurrence back the way the schedule had it. This gives you an accurate picture of the months ahead when real life departs from the schedule.

Add One-Off Items to Your Cash Flow (KAN-2917)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

The Cash Flow ledger now has an Add item button that drops a new one-time item on the date you are looking at, so you can plan for an expense or a deposit that is not part of a recurring bill. Start typing a name and your existing payees are suggested as you go. One-time items can be deleted straight from the ledger, and a pencil on any recurring row opens the bill editor beside the ledger when you need to change the whole series. Your projected balance and chart update the moment you add or remove an item, so the months ahead always reflect what you actually expect.

Look 6 or 12 Months Ahead in Cash Flow (KAN-2918)

🌐 WebBills & ReoccuringReports & Insights

Cash Flow now lets you choose how far ahead to look: the period control at the top of the page offers the next 3, 6, or 12 months, and the ledger, the balance chart, and the summary figures all move together to the span you pick. That makes it easy to see a holiday season, an annual premium, or a slow quarter coming before it arrives. You can also drag the dividers between the ledger’s columns to give a long payee name or a note more room, and the layout returns to its standard fit the next time you open the page.

Cash Flow Now Matches Your Dashboard (KAN-2920)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidReports & InsightsBills & Reoccuring

Cash Flow wasn’t listening when you marked a bill as already paid, or changed its date or amount for a single month, so its forecast could disagree with your dashboard. That was our mistake, and it’s fixed. Cash Flow now follows those changes, including skipped bills, so both places tell you the same story.

Cash Flow Report Now Matches Your Dashboard (KAN-2926)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBills & ReoccuringReports & Insights

Your Cash Flow report now tells the same story as your dashboard: a bill you’ve marked as already paid, or skipped, moves the projected line in both places instead of only one. Behind the scenes we also laid the groundwork for the new Cash Flow view, where you’ll be able to nudge a single upcoming bill’s date or amount without touching the rest of its schedule.

The Cash Flow Chart Names the Right Day You Go Negative (KAN-2932)

🌐 WebBills & ReoccuringReports & Insights

The note under the Cash Flow chart said you would go negative on the date your balance hit its lowest point, which could be weeks after the day it actually first dipped below zero, and it disagreed with the warning in the list underneath. The note now names the first day your balance goes negative, matching the list, while still telling you how low it gets.

The Cash Flow Editor Stays on the Payment You Chose (KAN-2933)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

In Cash Flow mode, changing a payment’s date and pressing Enter could leave the editing box on a different payment, showing a date that belonged to neither. The open cell now stays with the payment you were editing as the list re-sorts, and it closes cleanly if that payment is removed, so what you see is always the row you meant.

Undo an “Already Paid” Mark From Cash Flow (KAN-2934)

🌐 WebBills & Reoccuring

In Cash Flow mode, a payment you had marked as already paid showed no buttons at all, so there was no way to undo that mark without leaving the screen. It now offers a Revert button, which puts the payment back on its normal schedule and updates your Safe to Spend figure at the same time.

Broken Bank Connections Now Speak Up (KAN-2841)

🌐 WebAccounts & Balances

When the connection to your checking account or credit card needs a quick reconnect, Tovari now tells you right on that account, with a button to fix it on the spot. Before, a broken connection could leave a balance sitting frozen with no hint anything was off, which is a lousy way to find out. You’ll see the heads-up on your computer and in your phone’s browser.

Spot Balance Gaps on Your Phone (KAN-2860)

📱 iOS & AndroidAccounts & Balances

When your records and your bank’s balance drift apart, the Tovari mobile app now spots it and shows you both numbers and the gap between them, right in the account editor. You can record the difference as a regular transaction after a quick confirmation, so you never have to edit your starting balance and rewrite your history to make the numbers match.

Skipped Bills Stay Skipped (KAN-2927)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBills & Reoccuring

Skip a bill for a cycle and your balance forecast now takes your word for it. The balance chart, your lowest upcoming balance, and the low-balance warning all treat that bill as money that isn’t leaving, so they agree with your bill list instead of counting a payment you told us to skip. Bills you’ve moved to a new date or changed to a different amount are counted the same way.

Search Now Finds Your Bill Notes (KAN-2928)

🌐 Web📱 iOS & AndroidBills & Reoccuring

Notes you jot on an upcoming bill now turn up when you search. Type a word you remember from a note and the bill it belongs to shows up, so you don’t have to hunt for it.
