Bills in Color, Balances in View (KAN-3761)

Your upcoming bills now wear the same colors on Bills and Transactions: green when you've marked one as scheduled, blue when it's already pending at your bank, red when it's overdue, and orange with "Tap to confirm" when we found the payment and just need your OK. The all-accounts Transactions screen also shows, beside each bill, what that account's balance will be once it's paid — the same number you'd see inside the account itself.

Starting Balances That Stay Honest (KAN-3757)

If your bank re-sent a batch of transactions, a connected account could pick up a Starting Balance worked out at the moment the old and new copies overlapped — leaving its balance off, sometimes below zero, with nothing to set it right. Tovari now waits for that overlap to clear before it works out a Starting Balance, and takes one back out on its own once your transactions and your bank have agreed without it for several days running. Anything you've edited or reconciled yourself is left exactly as you left it.

Editing a connected account's Starting Balance entry could knock it out of its own category, sometimes leaving it with no category at all and sometimes counting it as income, which made your budget, reports and Safe to Spend look richer than you really were. Starting Balance now stays put when you edit it, and we've moved every one that had wandered back where it belongs.
